Perceptions on social media (and spending on it) are changing

According to this chart from MarketingSherpa, the idea of social media as a viable marketing and communications vehicle is gaining ground at a pretty good rate.  56% of their survey respondents plan to increase their budgets for social media endeavors this year – 7%  of that group says they’ll increase that budget liberally.
