URoomSurf Groups

Those of you managing Facebook groups for current and/or prospective students may have seen this logo – it belongs to URoomSurf, and they’ve been busy creating class year groups for many colleges and universities over the last couple of months.
They created a group for Hamilton’s class of 2014, and they’ve been advertising in our student group as well, but I’ve been deleting their posts. At least they aren’t using our graphics.
Brad Ward wrote about URoomSurf today, pointing out the parallels to last year’s Facebookgate. It’s probably not a bad idea to keep an eye on these folks.
