Merging MP3 Files on a Mac

File this under the “so easy, why didn’t I try it earlier” category…
So I have 6 mp3’s that I need to merge together. Do I drag them into GarageBand? Nah, this is quicker.
1) Put all the files into the same folder, and name them in the order you want them put together – file1.mp3, file2.mp3, [...]

Great use of Twitter

I thought this was a great use of Twitter in the higher-ed world. The University of Chicago’s Law School has put together a page called “Tweet Chicago” that brings tweets from members of their law school community (and not just students) into one place.

Starting to see more and more higher-ed sites inserting social media (Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, etc.) icons and links into their footers or on their sidebars. Thinking we will probably do the same shortly. Just another way to raise awareness that we’re out in these other spaces as well.
