Using Wordpress as a CMS

I’m looking at using the popular Wordpress blog engine as a CMS for a website. This actually isn’t too difficult, I’ve discovered, and requires only minor tweaking to get things to work right.
Obviously others have been down this road before – here’s one such account, complete with examples and tips.
